Go Grow LED released today they are poised, ready, and looking for a partner to enter one of the Cannabis Cups. Last month, Go Grow LED debut their revolutionary LED grow light to the industry at the World Cannabis Convention in Los Angeles. Today, they continue to build awareness of their products and take a giant leap forward by looking to enter the prestigious Cannabis Cup as the light source behind a potentially award winning plant.
“I believe we have the LED technology, different from all other LED grow lights on the market by the way, to grow some of the best plants in the world”, Scott McCormick, Managing Member. Go Grow LED, LLC was formed by a group of Lighting Experts, Engineers, and Master Growers who collaborated to design, test and produce what could be the most powerful and efficient grow light the industry has ever seen. By utilizing a patented single high wattage chip, compared to hundreds of smaller LED chips, the Company claims their light penetrates deeper into the plants canopy to better stimulate photosynthesis and activate healthy growth. The Company also proclaims to have a unique PAR light spectrum that replicates that of natural sunlight. Some rather large claims that hopefully shine through!
The High Times Cannabis Cup is the world’s foremost cannabis festival. Founded in 1988 by Steven Hager, the High Times Cannabis Cup is held each November in Amsterdam. The event allows judges from around the world to sample and vote for their favorite marijuana varieties. In 2010, High Times mounted its first Cannabis Cup in the United States. The magazine now holds Cannabis Cups in Northern and Southern California, Denver, Michigan, Seattle, with plans to hold a Cannabis Cup in Portland in 2015.
Go Grow LED is rapidly gaining the attention of the industry, and if they can pull off a Cannabis Cup win, they will surely find their place into the day to day conversations of growers everywhere. Mr. McCormick goes on to state, “we welcome the testing of our light by any media or grow group to provide the industry with useful and factual ratings and results”. There is no doubt, Go Grow LED is putting their light out there for the world to test.
